Several months ago I put an "at market order" which only partially filled.
I rang the online broker who gave me 3 options:
1. Cancel the order and place a new order at the higher price.
2. Finalise the order (to receive the few shares I have received) and place a new order at the higher price.
3. Wait for the sp to drop back down and then the order will automatically be filled.
Options 1 and 2 would cost me more $. Luckily I chose option 3 and the order was filled with only one brokerage fee.
Last I heard the govt is going to ban these bot traders.
