Whist I wouldn’t dismiss all associations as pathetic, I would agree with your sentiment, as I alluded to earlier, that in this case FinTech will not have any impact on the IAM journey. I see no value whatsoever in any alignment with this particular association. To the contrary and as you said, should IAM lay the golden egg, then FinTech, in addition to a host of others, will be proactively chasing IAM for a multitude of strategi reasons.
