These guys have gone from being the biggest cowboys in the game to a super conservative platform. That being said, they don't have a clear direction - ie, they don't have a sales culture with heavy pushing of product, nor do they have an excellence culture - they're somewhere in between. They've got great staff, solid networks and a strong income stream, but they've never been able to capitalise on it all. Strong, innovative leadership and some big risks will bring this around, nothing less.
