It's not that it's old inventory that's hanging around. It might be stuff they bought on June 30 that is not yet sold making up the majority of the 88.65m
Think of it this way. You have $1,375m of revenues, with $88.65m of inventory. That means: - revenues for the year are 15.5 times inventories. - you have your inventory churning at 15.5 times a year... - they're holding stock on average of 23.5 days (365/15.5). That's hardly at risk of becoming obsolete.
