The points you mention are the very reasons why I am holding close to my UMC shares and have a not for sale sign on them.

We have only see the very beginning of this companies growth and with the first jorc in the pocket we can only go higher from here and have now a concrete floor under the share price.

My question is how much do we expect that the majors will pay for the UMC iron ore at the gate???

I have not seen any figures being mentioned so far so what is everyones thought about the price??

BHP and RIO would benefit having a deal with a junior who has some of the finest iron ore of the Pilbara and hereby having partly fulfilled their obligation to share the railways.

But knowing that UMC has not many alternatives to bring their ore to port will make them drive a hard deal imho.

So how much can we expect from such a deal??

Would it be say $30 per tonnes???
