hilly_sandman has got it right. BWP is "set and forget".
I have held the stock since 2003, both directly and in my Super fund. It one of the best shares I've ever owned. Other property trusts like GPT, Mirvac and Stockland have never recovered to the level they were in 2007, pre GFC. One only has to look at BWP dividend chart and compare with those mentioned. My average buying price is $1.55 and that includes paying $3.25 for a decent parcel in Aug 2016. Long term reliability is second to none and is backed by Wesfarmers. It's P/E ratio is much better than stocks like CSL and COH, and pays a better yield. I believe it is fair to compare with those.
