An interesting note about BWP's performance for those who are interested... I originally purchased in Dec 2013 at an average price of $2.19 per share. Since that time BWP has returned on average 21% per annum in my investment portfolio.
Original Purchase Price: $2.19 per share
Total Dividends: 0.96c per share
Capital Gain (SP appreciation): $1.55c ($3.74 - $2.19)
Total Return: $2.51 per share (I have more than doubled my money in 5.5years - amazing)
My BWP investment has literally been a set and forget one. I have not bought any additional shares since 2013 (other than being part of the DRP since).
IMO this is the perfect example of finding a boring company with stable and growing earnings, you'd struggle to find anyone who would recommend BWP as a growth investment - but it's done exactly that for me, doubling my money in less than 10 years! Anyway too good not to share...
As an aside, I am of the opinion that BWP is a little over valued right now...
