Current share price weakness is about the withdrawal of funds! I think?
This seems to be happening to many so I am not too worried. PTM and MGF for example have had many withdraw and gone into cash in this Covid world. Our Covid problems are global and I pray that soon it will be overcome.
If my memory serves me well. IFL paid 9.5% return on their clients super. Better than the 0.1% from bank interest. My wife returned 14.8% on her super says, 2021 was the year to be in the market.
Those that have gone into cash over time will start sweating with the 0.1% return And return back to the market. February 2022 will be the start of the reporting season. Have no Idea what to expect but last half year, my portfolio was good fundamentally. Share price went down a little, so in the red.
If reporting shows growth expect market to rise with chase for dividends.
US federal reserve has warned of an interest rate hike in March 2022 and another 2 during the year. This might be as small as +0.1% in an incredible cheap interest environment. Will be interesting to see markets reaction. I will try to take some profits and keep some cash to buy into the volatility.
