The aim of government during a pandemic is to save lives and save us from financial disaster. But, if that means taking action that the big end of town frown on, then, you know.....some deaths are acceptable and many small businesses going broke and restrictions on movement are just too bad.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not some bitter old fart. I've been watching the corruption grow in Australia for decades. The ASX and ASIC are leading lights in the corruption stakes in my opinion. We can look at our bankers who were involved in the worst financial criminality and yet not one went to prison.

There are many, many naive people who will say, if this fast antigen test was any good the government would use it, therefore it can't be all that good. Their faith in government is quite touching. It is this naivete that allows corruption to flourish.

Australia is a rich country with a small population with their heads buried deep in the sand. We're not rich through ingenuity or hard work or any other positive attribute. We're rich because we dig holes and sell the minerals that we find, nothing more.

AnteoTech will make its name overseas and prosper while our inept governments stumble along imagining how clever they are while being saved from disaster by another hole in the ground that will provide $billions.

Just for amusement - I'm not a big fan of reality TV, however I have watched the first few episodes of The Apprentice.

What's the connection, and moral of the story in relation to ADO?

The team that lost that segment actually had the better product, as determined by the customers. The team that won had a lousy product according to customers feedback. It showed, me at least, that the better product doesn't necessarily win, in this case it was the marketing strategy by the team that won.
