Yep, last Q the Blue Bird mill ran at 50% capacity. They need high grade (preferably oxide) feed for their mills. Not new mills that are small, as they just sold Lakewood for being too small.
Frankly I don't want to see a takeover, Tim and the team are young, ambitious and work hard. I want to back that type of management to drill for more ounces, expand the current plant consolidate local stranded deposits. GBR makes all the sense we have Andy Well they have Side Well they're basically next door.
And eventually when we're strong enough, build or buy another mine.
That's how you go from Northern Star picking up Paulsens (for us, Andy Well) as a junior into a multi-mine, multi-billion operation.
