Drilling is required to test their thoughts on Stackpooles (Donaldsons) as well as their other near surface targets. Previous operators (WMC/GMA) were well aware of the few high grade intersections that the current operators are promoting but they chose not to chase them. There have been thousands of holes drilled at MS and it was/is not unusual to get the odd high grade hit but past follow ups have shown them to be in otherwise uneconomic country.
