I too have decided its because im a genius stock picker. I had never heard of Horizon Oil until mid April. A 14% gain on my capital in 3 months (if i sell, which i won't)
Other than that, i guess its because the oil price has stayed elevated, the dividend should be great and because most holders won't sell so buyers have to bid up. I expect another couple of cents rise to get dividend and then a fall back to 18 - 19 once ex-dividend.
