But do the chartists follow the trend, and thus buy and sell at certain points, or, do they actually create the trend by practicing charting fundamentals? I mean why would a chartist say the price will drop at a certain point? Because it always does? Does it do that because all the chartists know it does and thus sell. Is it the horse or the cart first? These are the questions that keep me up at night! I think I need to have good long read of some texts to fully understand, or join the modern world and watch a 5 min YouTube video and pronounce by mastery of the subject.
