Vocus is rolling out over 200 kilometres of dark fibre which have EBITDA margins of greater than 60 to 70%. From 2013 this is the true river of gold as they gain traction. Selecting where to roll out the dark fibre in the CBD grid is a complex undertaking ie. likely customers, who has laid already, where your permitted to lay, distances from clients to data centres, fastest routes ie. Stock exchanges for HFT where millseconds make a difference. Vocus are all over this as they
have the human resources to figure out the complex puzzle.
Share price will be stuck at $1.30 - $1.50 for the next 12 months unless aquisitions/mergers are announced. Why ? When a stock is sold down from $3 there is a lot of pain for holders who bought above the current levels. Many RM followers will just want thier money back or finally capitulate to taking a loss. No rush to buy at current levels but hopefully will find a base.
