My judgement is that the entity (entities) seeking to drop the price will attempt to get the price down to 21c during the closing auction, on a small trade, giving the impression that the price is continuing to fall — although, as you indicate, there is an entity (or entities) who are willing to buy at the 21.5c level.

It appears to me that there are unlikely to be many entities that acquired 20c options that are willing to sell below about 21.5 - 22 cents, but whomsoever is seeking to drop the price (assuming there is an entity with that agenda) may choose to sell strongly into the close to attempt to create a minor panic; scooping up at a lower price from stressed-out sellers.

One does not need very deep pockets to create "price impressions" in illiquid stocks like KNL.
