However, I disagree based on what I know to be the truth.
The "science" as you stated, is sketchy at best, completely false at worst.
You are basically saying, your ready to sacrifice our nations economic prosperity for now and future generations in order to pursuit a "leadership role" in helping to prevent some notional apocalyptic climate change event that "may" happen a century from now...
A meteor may crash into the earth before then, Japan might sink beneath the ocean in one massive tectonic collapse.
It's all well and good to have dreams and aspirations, I applaud you for that, but you can forget Fusion.
It's too expensive and too technologically complex, to ever become a feasible energy supply.
And nuclear in its current form, has more problems than benefits...
Just ask the good working people of Fukushima what they think about nuclear.
If you want to continue this debate, happy to oblige, but the good shareholders of VMS have been more than accomodating already.
