Any other country would welcome the opportunity to tap into a promising and valuable natural resource with open hands. Unfortunately in Australia it's sharks first, then birds followed by few seasonal swimmers/surfers....Gas is further down the list. Negative media coverage is not helping. Most of the protesters don't even know the rig will out of sight some 30km away and that eco-friendly drilling methods will be used. Will prefer if the media was to focus on jobs, high pays,cheap gas, economic growth,new technology to combat environmental challenges,Ccs etc.
