.. perhaps we should have been having a beer with me wehn the maths was done
... we are not talking about comparing the number of shares on offer
but rather the overall MARKET CAPITALISATION .... the $ value of what the shareholders own
... and it is ALL about Market Cap at these stages ... because no income is being produced there is no historical ' trading ' data to work with ....
if you did it your way ... it still works ( again back of beer coaster maths )
PRR 893.79 million shares in Australia
Prima divided by 30 = would equate 297.93 million PBMD in the US
( Nasdaq terms ratio 30:1)
say 30 x $0.30 current PRR share price = $9.00 PBMD AUD if they were listed in the US
297.93 million shares x $9.00 = $ 268 million (AUD) dollars market cap
... same as here ...
each way you do it the rough maths is the same
