Even if you accept that, it doesn't really say much. What personal financial obligations? His shopping bills? His mortgage?
And why did he have to sell AVQ as opposed to anything else he owns? Wouldn't any prudential person, when in need of cash, sell the asset with the least potential? I mean, he's not really going to believe this will quadriple in price in the future and say "yeah but don't worry, I want to sell it now, because my money quadriples".
