I think you will find that most MNM drilling occurs in the Winter which is between June and September.
I suppose that means that majority of price sensitive news takes place in the second half of the year IMO.
I think that lots is happening behind closed doors with regards to BM and LV but as we know the main Catalysts are ALDP news, S7 news, Exergen news and unfortunately this has not been announced yet.
Most of the big news which effects the MNM's coal tenements/projects in Victoria is expected to take place between June and September 2013.
Mt Mulligan has been a slow process and yes that is frustrating.
Lets consider some variables though.....
-MNM has a low cash burn which we as holder like?
-The downside is MNM has a small team of mainly geos.
-IK has to do virtually all the work which means he has to spend his time wisely and he cant focus on every project at once I suppose?
-Australian miners/small caps have taken a beating the past year which adds more pressure, raising cash is tough and companies are not wanting to raise big amounts when the share prices are hitting lows.
-Ik has a tough job and he has to be smart and spend wisely
For me, I look at the MNM Market cap.
Do I think MNM is only worth 10 million? NO
I think MNM is worth at least 30 million based on the information we already know.
Am I bullish our brown coal projects/BCE? yes
Am I bullish Mt Mulligan? yes
Do I think we have potential to get cash flows from the near surface gold? yes
Have most stocks been hammered? yes
Do I think the Australian market will rally again and will MNM be in a great position? yes
Do I think thermal coal prices will rally again at some stage? yes
do I think that BM will be a low cost producer if all goes to plan? yes
Do I think MNM Management have families and want to retire wealthy? yes
Do I think they invested in MNM because they backing themselves and they bullish? yes
do I know what gold prices and coal prices will do the next 5 years? NO IDEA which is why I like the fact that MNM has both...
I have also been hammered the past year, My account is down heaps, Yes I get frustrated but I truly believe MNM will be a success Because we have several irons in the fire.....
We don't rely on one project/commodity
I am hoping that MNM rallies hard this year but I have no control over share price so I will hold and wait....
good luck all holders....
(some will sell when a SP is low due to stress of losing more cash, financial obligations etc etc, some will think its cheaper than ever and buy)
(My parents live in the USA and some of the wealthy have been buying property the past two years after the huge falls in the property market, would you rather buy a house/share after prices have been smashed or would you prefer to buy near the peak?)
My only problem is I loaded up MNM at a much higher price because I never expected the huge falls,,,,you win some you lose some. I still believe that my buy in prices will be cheap in a few months time so I wait.
that was a huge ramble but hopefully it makes sense
