Trades like seem today and then sudden large parcels appearing on the sell side with the price volatility seen are all signs of rampant manipulation. There's nothing that can be down regarding that unless you're a small investor and get found out after which the penalties can be huge. But if you're a large player you are effectively sanctioned by ASIC who couldn't give two tosses as long as they keep their jobs. It's an almost impossible task to recoup losses in this market with an ineffectual watchdog, an absolutely useless govt with gillard in denial and swann talking down the resource sector while everything else is also going to crap, the free rein foreign investors can dick around with the market down under, and of course the large offshore players routing commodities after using QE to their benefits and nobody else's to make huge sums of cash. The only winners over the past few years have been the financial institutions that for bailed out and are now making good money albeit for their own sector. What a complete joke with all the money spent going straight to those institutions pockets with no benefits thy are apparent to the ordinary person who has likely lost on their mortgages, investments and jobs. No wonder Ryan buggered off to the Solomon's - maybe a teapot country but probably less deceit and dishonesty there - plus they have various tribal solutions for problems whereas in Australia you either wait for a lame duck election or open your mouth an get hit with a defamation suit. Makes me wonder that on average humans live for 80 years but a few just have to make the entire period as miserable as possible for every one else.
