I think expectations are low for Myer. No one expects an above average result, and speculation is for a 'soft' 2Q15.
On the other hand, we could see a real spike in share price if the results are great - shorts will need to be covered, as Myer is the most shorted stock on the market. We could see a real big spike.
However the biggest concern is the CEO. Most new CEO's will get rid of the skeletons in the closet before moving ahead. He's already begun comparing Myer to the success stories and turnarounds overseas.
Nothing we can do other than wait and see. I know I bought the majority of my Christmas presents at Myer, and a lot of people can say the same thing!
