    Ravi old chap,

    if the question in your first paragraph is serious then you would be well advised to steer clear of charting to assist your investments.
    For example Beach Petroleum, intraday highs were: 27 Feb 2012, ($1.758), 29 Jun 2012, (96 cents), 28 Apr 2014, ($1.817), 21 Jan 2016, (37 cents). Drawing a straight line between $1.758 and 37 cents does not give any indication whatsoever as to management policy or execution of same . Which is what I have been repeating in my previous posts regarding Central.
    In a collegiate spirit, may I recommend checking out the book " Charting For Dummies", Barbara Rockefeller, Wiley 2007. It gives what they call a non-intimidating explanation of the art.
