I'm not a great fan of gas over coal. I'm a great fan of best practice whatever that may be in any industry. Moving towards cleanest tech to generate power is the main thing even if it was using coal. Balancing ethics with economics will produce a better long term outcome for all besides short term bonuses and profits.
I think a solar, wind power combo is the future but large scale power we still need fossil fuels for now.
