I don’t really understand IOP movements after not getting involved for many years besides the cursory read on Chinese economy etc, and FX doesn’t appear to be a driver of margin with the recent selloff in AUD?
When I entered finally after months of a one sided rally on the pullback, my mistake was not to at least look at forward future pricing. Backwardation currently so weakness will continue unless unforeseen events surprises.
I can only think of 2 potential events, trade deal & more spillage.
