It's unrealistic to expect an immediate spike in the share price.
Arafura is not expected to start ore commissioning and production ramp up before 2027 at its flagship Nolans rare earths project. CTP's gas supply agreement is for five years from 2026, with the option of a two year extension subject to uncontracted gas being available.
So clearly Arafura is shoring up gas supplies in readiness for production.
