there is most definitely manipulation in the closing stages of market, with dummy trades of 1 above or below the offering number. This definitely impacts moving averages, but it only really matters if there is a reason for it, One reason could be an like an impending CR, which some people are here are banking on this to get in cheap, so its definitely a reason to manipulate the SP. Other reasons are to trigger buy / sell alerts within other peoples algorisms. many many games being played.

But also fact regarding SP is that if you use equity as a means of paying contractors etc, then expect them to also sell them to get paid. Not rocket science really. But once we are through this transition from being an explorer to a full blown miner, then its certainly a much smoother ride. That ride is getting so close to us, just be patient with the rocks that distract you for a while.
