It seems like the key issue is the build up of salt, dirt and sand on the perspex housing outside the camera lenses. In that regard, maintenance arrangements between SLS NSW and Spectur do not extend to cleaning, but our MD intends to talk to SLS NSW about the issue and I imagine he will suggest that among other options, SLS NSW could consider establishing a periodic cleaning protocol with local SLS Clubs to ensure that images from Spectur ERBs remain optimised.
