I received a response from the Spectur CEO on the apparent continued lack of surveillance and security following the recent re-hoisting and re-fixing of the Vallances Road, Mullumbimby 4G tower to its base plate.

Some of what our CEO had to say is paraphrased below:

- Indara are slowly putting Spectur cameras on some of their more remote 4G tower sites;

- Spectur cameras remain the preferred cameras for remote sites where Indara does decide to install cameras;

- All 4G tower owners and telco operators are under increasing pressure from the Federal Government to do more to secure the mobile phone network;

- Spectur expects that Optus would be talking to Indara about the Vallances Road site, given that much of the communication kit mounted on the tower belongs to Optus;

- Spectur will be seeking to have a specific discussion with Indara about that company's surveillance/security requirements at the Vallances Road 4G tower site, now that the tower has been re-hoisted, re-fixed to the base plate, and is (presumably) operational.
