now I am depressed!

The global market was not built on credit alone and fortunatley the shakeout of those too highly leveraged has occurred.

We are going to experience some pain but the whole story to the global market is that's it's global so markets feed of each other which is why everyone watches the others stock indexes and currencies.

Boeing and other great companies are still getting orders for planes. OK there has been a drop off in demand but it's only been marginal realistically, a couple of percent.

I remember leaving school when unemployment was around 6-7% and the interest rate was 17% on home loans.

People of this day cannot imagine that in this current environment.

The idea of having a global economy is thats its dynamic and also demand is spread out over other countries, only issue is the energy solution and it looks very much like nuclear and electric everthing, almost.

Global population is growing not shrinking so demand for products and commidities will strenghen not diminish.
