Not Australian we don't have any but we have all the still imperative RF spectrum in the meo sector to control access to the leo sector as required.No other country has this advantage re satellite connectivity.. Again we own the meo relay sector but eos for to long has been more concerned about useless awards compared to developing/financing their sectors. They appoint OHB to build their 4 meo satellites,OHB is a major builder for SES etc eos is a small player. Compare to had eos approached the Australian govt and explained the importance of controlling the meo relay service with access to selected leo satellites the winning tender would be fully aware they were dealing with the Australian govt not a start up as in eos. If the govt had of been convinced and imo would have been convinced to a back the meo project and eos chose say boeing US to build the satellites then boeing has far/would have had far more incentive to complete the constellation far more than OHB due to boeing Australia having major divisions and tenders in Australia and they would not want to disappoint the Australian govt. Far more incentive than OHB imo only. This rubbish about first and second constellation is pathetic.The roll out of these constellation should be one,and would be if backed by the Australian gvt.No longer can the excuse be the second constellation will be laser,the first constellation will now be hybrid/laser connectivity. If eos can't sell this project to Dutton eos needs new sales people/management. imo hmm thats it iv'e finished my rambling but Dutton needs to be informed just how important this meo spectrum is imo only.
