I'm still struggling to find information about costs. However this is a good read - it's the application for approval to deploy the constellation.

I'll try and google indicative costs for micro satellites based upon a weight of 900lbs or 400kg. It's going to cost them a lot to get this up and running. Getting a return on their investment would take a while I assume....

This is broadband and not narrowband so still a different target market to SAS IMO.
