For the DJI the limits of first 3 waves are less defined, because wave 3 was such a massive rally (and according to Elliot it usually is). I think wave 3 started somewhere in the early 1990's. But after that:
Wave 4 (OCT1999, JUL2002)
Wave 5 (JUL2002, JUL2007)
Wave A (JUL2007, JAN2009)
Wave B (JAN2009, APR2011)
Wave C (APR2011, DEC2012????)
These is just IMHO. I am sure there are much better chartists out there.
Btw, did I mention I didn't really believe in Elliot's waves?
