Big up days like today must be a nightmare for shorters.
I am a long term accumulator, buying on down days. A down day doesn't keep me awake at night since I know in 2 years this will be a lot higher. Short term there is a disconnect from the iron ore price and China etc. But a day like today for shorters must hurt. They have a significant cost of holding.
Still, clearly a way of capitulation for the shorters, taking longer than I expected. I am enjoying watching the battle!
