I agree some short covering maybe happening but no capitulation by shorters yet. For that to happen, Europe has to get off the front page. I'm sure we will still see plenty of bad days where shorters make some money. But, they day will come when the shorters will have to capitulate (in my view).
As a medium term, high conviction long investor in this one, I am more interested in FMG's production numbers, their increase in ore reserves and China "only" growing at 8.9% with a bias towards more bank easing. Their ability to raise debt a while ago during all the doom and gloom was also impressive.
Extremely interesting times.
