Hi all,

When I visited the plant some 12 months ago and they were assembling the roaster I was most impressed with the provisions for interchangeability of certain fluid bed components.
Several conjectured testing pathways were envisaged.

Tweakability of the components was the watchword.

As time has elapsed a bigger picture has evolved.

Iluka (the last to arrive for the party ) will have their feedstock tested first.
If it doesn't quite work out it's bad luck for them.... because APG will change the roaster components and move on to test the BMX feedstock.....which is actually a long tonnage campaign.

If it is still considered that further upgrades are needed they will be made before going on to the BHP material.

THUS the guys that have put up the big bucks will have the benefit of the testing when the equipment is at its optimum.

I think that's fair.
