Hi Captain, your post made me curious and want to check back into my own trading history in PAA,. I've been here since early 2018 and so far not sold a single PAA share, so I guess that makes me a fully paid up "cult" member The best price I paid on the general market was 3.6c and the most was 22c back in May 2020. I think there may have been some in a CR at about 2.5c but can't remember for sure, I therefore have the current Oppies as well which look very likely to be in the money very soon! By the way, I've taken part in all the CRs over the years that retail punters were invited to, but obviously not the ones restricted to instos and sophs. Things very looking pretty bleak there for a while with the SP but since MT's arrival things have started looking up, thank goodness!

Keeping fingers that we get more good news next week and the new PR firm can prove their worth with some blaring trumpets and fireworks. If the oppies get well into the money and punters suspect that there may be a takeover offer, some will want to convert to full shares just to be certain that they would get the full buyout amount. All of a sudden PAA is cash rich, in the news and on the radar of investors. If this interest is enough it should either convince that 10% to 20% that you mentioned to either hold on a bit longer, or at least finally to get out of jail and sell their shares to a hungry new investor and set a new higher SP base. It will be interesting to watch how we can balance share liquidity with our strong shareholder base, I've been watching with interest as the number of "asks" drops and the "bids" increase, to paraphrase NZT, "don't will sell down to the bidder" BUT at what price then will the dyed in the wool cult members finally open their vaults and sell a few of their precious shares?? A buyout would at least make that decision easier for many of us.
