Though I will wait a bit longer before really feeling chuffed about it, as.... to be fair, it could have easily gone the other way (and seemed to have until 15 months ago).
@Joelstar - great post above, I can only concur in regards to the all the drilling that the previous MDs at GCY undertook, they were desperate to find more open pit ore, as once Golden Wings.... proved less golden, it was all a desperate race for anything with real ounces in it. Nothing deep other than the Sly Fox really, even the main pit, was shallow, in/outside the pit.
As for the TANQUERAY 'discovery', hmmph, I remember it well, as it came just before what I now know was an emergency capital raising, which... I fully supported, even applied for more, to support them (sheesh... I re-read this and feel like an idiot). From memory, they did do follow up drilling
@sabine, but the results were sub par (I did and still do wonder if.... just maybe, the big 'hit' was just a little too opportune).
As for my holding firm with my shares, hmm.... brave/wise, or foolhardy?
Bloody hope its the first one! Cheers mate. Funny, but I had not thought through that my, ah, stubborn position is also a vote of confidence in team, but you are of course right. Plus... if I could be bothered looking back a decade, I was likely posting a lot of rubbish, but... somewhere in there, that I simply believed in the dirt around the main pit (and still do).
I think this prediction is logical, but... as earlier, I cannot help but be a little skittish with an MD being so bullish (perhaps I am just not used it).
I won't deny, I do look at images like this and feel... confident..ish that Never Never is most def not the end, but just the beginning.
Just to be clear, we have not really had anything new this, from March. Should have a lot more to share when they are ready.
@pbawley - great point about the potential high grade lodes in the main pit, again, appreciate different eyes on the same information.

@Baraka and agree with your thoughts. Though 'ineptitude' is polite for me, but.... appropriate.
SL is chasing profitable ounces, and whilst Yalgoo would be profitable, no-where near what Never Never will provide, but a good option for base load ore if enough high grade gold is found (perhaps Never Never alone is going to ensure a 10 year mine plan (high grade component anyway).
