It’s all about CPI expectations. If it comes in less/more than expected POG will rise/fall. Not sure what POG will do if CPI is in line with expectations. I don’t really care what the CPI is for 1 month as the tend is clearly down and even if it’s above expectations I will be extremely surprised if it’s not significantly lower in 6 months in which case PIG will likely be significantly higher than today.
If POG dips lower due to a higher than expected CPI then SPR will likely fall due to a lower POG - in this situation it will be a better time to buy SPR before more assay results are released. Remember that the NN holes yet to be released had visible gold.
