Posting as a non holder NT resident. Forget Middle Arm as a location for the plant, it will never happen. Darwin residents want no further industrialisation of Darwin Harbour. There is already outrage at the industrialisation by stealth that has proceeded on a massive scale. The Darwin Harbour is like Sydney Harbour to NT residents. Industrialise it?? Ominous for TNG that the Larakia people seek no further info. There is none needed because they will not change their minds, fierce opposition to their traditional land. Yes the Chief Minister offered the land, at a politically opportune time. Now he has withdrawn the offer in different political times. Forget the jobs argument, the royalties, the money. This will not go ahead and PB should know it (probably already does). TNG needs to scrap the idea rather than spend years in an expensive fight they will not win. Excuse my bluntness but honesty is needed for TNG holders.
