If you owned two farms and one was profitable & the other was not because you were paying the workers there more than the workers on the first farm, what would you do?
Would you renegotiate the terms of the EBA on the unprofitable farm.
Close the farm & rehire the workers on a different EBA?
Use the profits from the profitable farm to fix the non profitable one?
Ask the govt for a cash handout to fix a problem that you helped cause?
Blockade the road to all the other farms in the area until the Govt agreed to give you money to fix problems of your own making and in the mean time cause other farms to lose money because you don't want to waste your own money on propping up a losing business?
