I presume the increase you report is from the 11/7/14 {friday}
It is very interesting as it is evidence that the long futures holders can rely on the ETF's to buy there position off them.
Many hundred of thousands of small momentum traders, combining to create a large Gold purchase.
The same dynamic occurs on the downside, and it will be interesting in the next few days whether the fund becomes a seller of tonnage.
