michele 'White bread' area, with out offense, that's a funny term. I also never thought of generalising people's demographic based on a consumer good. Like in Perth, a suburb called Rockingham is always being picked on as the bogan heart beat of Perth. I think it's offensive when the media keep harping on about it. Back to the bread. I like Abbott's Village Bakery bread, the best in my opinion and has an impressive 6.3gr/fibre/100(6.3%)
I only buy white rolls if I want to make a chicken roll with mayo or a hot dog. I've used wholemeal but it just lacks that 'junk food' taste!
