I had stopped following this as I missed the big run last year. When I saw Bobosso drilling announced I did a little research. One of our crew was abducted in the area however the rebels were not interested in stoping exploration.
If the area was to be mined and locals displaced the development co would have to smooth it over through local employment and provision of fuel or cheaper electricity as locals use the field to supplement income. Apparently since the gov provided electricity to the area (2009) the locals have still not paid one bill as; they feel it should be a free service. If the service gets disconnected they just riot and it comes back on haha.
Good luck her however, might have to wait for a decent run now due to recent ann. Last time it was terror reports that made me jump ship.
