    fluffynymph,

    I tend to believe globally we are indeed heading into a new or better put, the next phase of the bull market and here's why;

    EXPONENTIAL GROWTH - COMPOUNDING!

    Undoubtedly there will be pullbacks and even corrections, both are indeed natural particularities of the process. However I believe the GFC we've witnessed in recent times has now provided the rare opportunity for us to enter what could prove to be an astounding period of growth.

    Much of the focus is on China and to a lesser extent India too, and deservedly so however if we begin to see a half decent recovery or growth in the EU and of course the US, the global demand for COAL will be staggering. The same goes for OIL, URANIUM (as the next major energy source) and of course COPPER!

    It seems to me that the penny has dropped with regards to global COAL consumption hence the rush in recent times to secure large, safe deposits in order to assure ongoing economic growth.

    We've already seen what impact Asia (largely China) has had on resource demand, what is going to occur when the remaining global economies (and they will) come 'back on line'?

    The answer is simple - demad will outstrip supply SIGNIFICANTLY!
