IMO this is the market to start building a holding of quality blue chip and mid cap stocks, not speccies.
ALS, BKN, BBG amongst the mid-cap range are outstanding long-term value. I don't know if they will be cheaper in a few weeks, but in a 3 to 4 years they could all potentially be up over 100% before taking into account the dividends.
QBE, big banks, MQG, BHP, RIO, all looking like reasonable buys for the long term.
Even the LICs like AFI and MLT are looking reasonable if you consider investments there for the long term.
