Total Thsipi dividend for H1 2020 announced today in the Qtrly is ZAR 1.75 billion. JMS gets half ( actually 49%), lets call it a half, so = 0.87 billion. At current ZAR / AUD exchange rate that comes close to 85 million AUD. I think tax is already covered by Thsipi before the distribution is paid from memory. So assuming 90% payout again to JMS shareholders and the incremental Marketing income to be added in it comes to more or less AUD 80 million payout to shareholders, divide that by approx 2 billion JMS shares = 4c dividend forthcoming. At a minimum maybe 3.5c if they want to squirrel a bit of money away for a rainy day, although we have a good cash balance already in the bank before the dividend. Given thats for a half year its still an unbeatable dividend yield.
