I remember one scumbag boss who managed to infiltrate the hopeless son of one of his mates into the office for which I was the manager. Since I was the person responsible for various reports, including those required by the overseas based Head Office, it became necessary for me to utilise that which sits above my torso, in order to find a satisfactory explanation for his expulsion. The fact that other office staff members were made aware of the connection between this employee and the manager, and his very clear lack of office experience, made it comparatively easy to 'send him on his way'.

So such matters are, unfortunately, not unusual, but should be resisted at all costs, unless it is a family organisation, of course.
