How SPAC have changed from cool to blah?

SPACs Were All the Rage. Now, Not So Much.

For a time, SPACs were the preferred way for companies to go public. But changing market conditions and the threat of regulation are making Wall Street lose its appetite.

NYT summed it up pretty well.

A EV spac is in liquidation 12 months after its merger!

I have jumped in again despite that with AMCI 11 - Lanzatech spac
Watching a few big bites from the likes of USD$50 million from Woodside and bigger players made me pay a bit of attention.
"Carbon recycler LanzaTech continues to hold investor interest, closing a $500 million funding deal from Brookfield Renewable"

Its all about ethylene from C02 perhaps? Perhaps as lab results to Large scale is a BIG jump of course
    "https://www.thechemicalengineer.com/news/lanzatech-produces-ethylene-directly-from-co2/"

Not for the fiat of heart and do your homework. It was scheduled 3rd q 2022- It November Q4 or Q2 if June- july Fin year just to confuse it a bit more

    Have a great weekend all
