Yes not good for the environment although there are great strides being made on the recycling side but the main reason plastic packaging will dominate is that it is so much cheaper &so versatile. The carton packaging industry in Aust has had below cpi growth for the past decade. Small printing businesses used to be in abundance but they are mostly gone now. To achieve growth the remaining players cannibalise eachother at the expense of margin. CKL's days of achieving 15%+EBITDA margins are long gone.
